On my way to sommelier

I manifested this trip to Italy early in 2021. Prior to this I’d given up alcohol as part of a larger detox I was doing, and I never realized how much I’ve grown to love wine-maybe that’s why your late twenties does to you. Since I started exploring different wines, and taking annual wine tours here in Nova Scotia I look forward to trying different types, and annual releases. After Halifax Charcuterie hit 6 months I knew I wanted to scale up my business by offering suggested wine pairings. Taking it a step further I wanted to actually know what I’m talking about and possess the formal education. January 2023 I start my sommelier journey with Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers. Each week I’ve come to appreciate wine more and more-it’s also much more theory based than anticipated.
